Yarn Modeller has three parts.
(1) A program for prediction of load-elongation properties of twisted continuous filament yarns, for which the theoretical basis is well validated. The basic inputs are fibre stress-strain curves and surface twist angle (which can be related to yarn linear density and twist).
(2) A program of empirical relations for staple fibre yarns.
(3) Yarn modeller outputs for twisted continuous-filament yarns and staple fibre yarns. |
